Car Noodles

It was raining, so we stuck the swimming “noodles” out the car windows.

We were waiting at a traffic light, ready to merge on to the highway.  We were talking about the logistics of getting one of our cars in and out of the repair shop, so I checked the keys on my key chain that was hanging there with the key in the ignition, and suddenly the whole key chain – including the key that was in the ignition – was no longer connected in any way to the van!  I checked, and the motor was still running and everything seemed to be fairly normal, except for the bewildered look on my face and the ensuing laughter coming from all the other occupants. 

I don’t think that is supposed to happen. 

Duplicate Duplicate

What if I made the same exact post twice – separated by a long time, like maybe a year or something? 

I bought my wife the same exact ring for Christmas two years in a row once before.  Er.. twice before.  Whatever.

I feel thin – like butter spread over too much bread.

Bilbo says that in the 1st “Lord of the Ring” movie.

I’d say it too, but I feel fat.

Bucket List

It’s the name of a new movie about some old guys wanting to do a “list” of things before they “kick the bucket”.  I haven’t seen it – but I am intrigued by the premise. 

My list?  Hmmm. 

1. It would be fun to drive a snow plow once.
2. I’ve always wanted to scuba dive in clear water – like the tropics.
3. I’d like to climb/hike up the Grand Teton with my sons.

I’ll have to think about it some more.

Higher than…

My son Dan had (4) wisdom teeth pulled yesterday. 

Man, I’ve never seen somone so happy… it was rather obvious that a whole lot more was numb than just his mouth.

He doesn’t remember any of it.
