For Christmas, my wife bought full length footed pink bunny PJ’s for our 15-year-old daughter – with bunnies on each foot.  While wrapping the gift, my daughter accidently caught a glimpse of the rather distinctive (and ugly pink), so she went and got the gift she had gotten for her mother – an exactly matching set – in order to appease the “early gift exchange” order of the universe.

I’ve yet to see the two bunnies in full attire, but those who have still haven’t quite recovered from the pains of laughter.

…answers my 5-year-old, when I ask him what he wants to talk about. 

He wants to be a Doctor /  Pilot/  Fire-Man when he grows up – so he always wants to talk about the body.  If anyone could be all three – he’s the one.   

The other day in the car, he asked whether it would make a big mess to look at his intestines for a little while.

…with my 12 year old son, are, “Please don’t hurt me!”

Said my 24 year old daughter – after finishing her last class of college and getting to change her facebook status to “in a relationship” all in the same week!

My 3 year old’s 2nd written sentence was, “I WANT A SNACK – PLEASE“

I’ve been doing it for weeks.

I’ve decided that getting up early is easier than getting up late because I’m too tired to notice how painful it is.

It’s now posted on the refridgerator along with other child art.  It reads:

I WANT A SNACK

My 24-year-old daughter said, “The Bible says that fathers are not supposed to exasperate their children… but in my 3-year-old brother’s case – he might be an exception – he needs it!”

He is a rather precocious, concrete- sequential and argumentative child.

My wife posted:

My three-year old was in bed with me this morning , and said, “Did you dream about C’s birthday?”

I said, “No, I didn’t dream about anything.”

After a pause he said “I dreamed about numbers in space”
